Where can I park for the Fairwood Farmers Market?
Parking is available WEST of the market area (the Calvary Church parking lots by Physical Therapy & Associates)Please follow posted signage and any directions from market staff or volunteers to ensure safe and respectful parking for neighbors and businesses.
Is there accessible parking available?
Yes. Accessible parking spaces are available nearby. If you need assistance, please ask a market volunteer or staff member. -
What payment methods do vendors accept?
Payment options vary by vendor. Many vendors accept cash and cards, while others may accept Venmo or other mobile payment options.Because each vendor manages their own payments, not all vendors accept credit or debit cards, so bringing some cash is recommended.
Do you have a card-to-cash option at the market?
Yes. The market offers a token exchange program where shoppers can use a card to purchase market tokens in $5 denominations. These tokens can then be used with participating vendors throughout the market.Do you accept food access benefits?
Yes. The market accepts EBT/SNAP, WIC FMNP, and Senior FMNP, which are food access programs that help make fresh, local food more accessible. These programs can be applied for through community resources, and you can learn more about eligibility and how to use them on the Resources section of our website.SNAP shoppers may also be eligible for matching market tokens to spend with participating vendors, helping stretch food dollars while supporting local farmers.

Are pets allowed at the market?
Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome at the Fairwood Farmers Market. Please ensure your pet is comfortable in crowds, clean up after them, and be mindful of vendors and other guests.NOTICE: Our market is in an asphalt parking lot, when temps reach high 90’s or hotter, we ask that you leave your pets at home.
Are service animals allowed?

What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?
The Fairwood Farmers Market is a rain or shine event. Vendors and customers should plan accordingly with tents, umbrellas, and weather-appropriate gear.Will the market ever be canceled due to weather?
In rare cases of severe weather or unsafe conditions, the market may delay or cancel for safety. Updates will be posted on our website and social media channels as soon as possible. -
Smoking and vaping are not permitted within the market area to help keep the space comfortable for all guests, vendors, and families.
